Summer House has welcomed Rehoboth Beach since 1977. Through changing seasons and years of beach trips, it has remained a place to gather on the Avenue.

That history is in the everyday things: meeting friends for a drink, stopping in for your favorite burger, or bringing family back to the restaurant you remember. You don’t have to be celebrating anything to make a night of it here.

Today, Summer House is part of Nalu Hospitality Group, with an experience that includes the main restaurant, outdoor dining in The Garden, and The Libation Room tucked in the back.

We’re an American restaurant at heart. That means room for a burger and fries, a seafood dinner, or something from the bar while you catch up. It’s a menu that fits a weekday lunch as comfortably as a night out.

Our Monday half-price burger special has been part of the tradition since 1977. The menu also gives a nod to local restaurant history through the original Jack Tarr potatoes—made famous by the Sea Horse Restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue and provided by the Lehman family.

Old favorites sit alongside dishes like lobster pot pie, black truffle mushroom ravioli, and classic Beef Wellington. It’s still Summer House, with plenty to explore.
