There’s a reason a restaurant becomes part of a town. Since 1977, Summer House has been a gathering place on Rehoboth Avenue: a familiar stop for locals, a vacation tradition for families, and an easy answer to “where should we eat?”
Our American menu brings together the favorites you know us for—burgers, seafood, steaks, and a proper cocktail—with plenty of reasons to try something different. Come for lunch, settle in for dinner, or meet us at the bar.

Start with crab dip or baked Brie fondue. Go straight for a classic burger, a blackened rockfish BLT, or the Connecticut-style lobster roll. Make dinner a little more of an occasion with crab cakes, steak frites, or Beef Wellington.
From a quick lunch to a full evening out, the menu makes room for whatever you have in mind. And if you’ve been coming for years, you already know: Monday’s half-price burger special is a tradition of its own.

There’s another side to Summer House. Tucked in the back, The Libation Room trades the bright dining room for dark wood, candlelit tables, and an intimate lounge atmosphere.
